Carroll started training and performing dance at age seven through Peruvian folklore. She's since explored a wide range of genres from Flamenco to contemporary. She even taught and led a Latin dance club in high school. Carroll has been practicing and performing samba since 2022 and says the art form has brought her a sense of community and humility to learn a challenging art form and culture entirely different from her own. Outside of dance, Carroll is a fintech consultant in Charlotte and loves weightlifting and hanging out with her kittens, Wednesday and Hermione, in her free time.
