Note For Parents: *Uniform required with an event shirt

Children who will receive a belt must wear uniform pants, which are available for $45. If you need to order or determine the correct size, please reach out to Peruca.

Advanced Brazilian dance class — Taught by: Mestra Janete Da Silva

What To Expect:

We are excited to celebrate Brazilian Carnaval here in Charlotte with world-renowned Capoeira and Dance Masters. Join us for challenging and fun workshops geared towards all levels focusing on Samba Afro, Samba Reggae, and Capoeira techniques. The workshops will teach us updated movements from these forms and connect them back to the cultural and historical contexts these movements came from.

We are also proud to host our first Kids Bautizado, (belt ceremony) to recognize the hard work of our Kids Capoeiristas and their parents have put in since the fall.

Registration Includes:

  • Workshop passes with special guests

  • Event T-shirt

  • First Belt for Kids registered for the Belt Ceremony
