Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Pedro Oliveira grew up surrounded by the lively beats of Samba. Coming from a family of former passistas, Pedro developed a deep love for the music and dance form. He believes that Samba is more than just entertainment—it's a way to honor his ancestors and carry on the beauty of Afro Brazilian culture. Having lived in Charlotte for the past 10 years, Pedro is delighted to have found a piece of his hometown's spirit in the heart of Charlotte.
